…and we’re back.

The fire spread down the canyon above our house only so far before winds started blowing north, in the opposite direction. We got back home safe and all is well again. However, the fire is just over the hill from where we are, within a thousand feet or so. If that fire ever decides to start spreading in the opposite direction, our house would literally be one of the first to go!

Well, that was a fun ride. Definitely put me out of my element, and I learned some things. It’s far from over, though.
